At Home-Start International we are committed to managing our resources with great care. We always try to ensure that our money, our time and our people are managed well in order to provide a high-quality, cost-effective service and avoid wasting any of our precious assets.

We aim to:

Put in place clear financial policies
Have excellent and transparent financial management
Provide guidance and support to staff while allowing them the appropriate autonomy to achieve H-SI’s objectives
Offer supportive and goal-focussed management of staff
Give appropriate levels of pay
Comply with all relevant legislation

We consider investment in our future to be the surest way to ensure our sustainability.

We do this by:

Monitoring and assessing our work constantly to make sure that we have the capacity, funds and abilities to go on delivering Home-Start as long as there is a need
Undertaking ambitious and creative fundraising within an appropriate ethical framework
Having HR policies that aim to be family-friendly
Offering regular training and development to both staff and trustees
