Anna Stuttard - Director
Anna Stuttard has been the Director of Home-Start International, since June 2006. A communications professional, Anna worked for 15 years at Amnesty International where she led the global web, translation and publishing departments. She is married with two daughters.
Melissa Jo Smith - Communications and Development Manager
Melissa Jo Smith lived in both Italy and America exploring some of what the world had to offer before graduating in Film from the London College of Printing. She went on to make independent documentaries about female infanticide in India and brutal treatment in a remedial boys' school, as well as short fiction films and animation. A published poet and writer, she is also a journalist specialising in pregnancy and birth issues. She has worked with adults with learning disabilities and has worked within the voluntary sector for nine years. The mother of two young boys, Melissa Jo no longer has any spare time to follow her interests of singing, dancing and folk mythology.
Penny Allsop - Office Manager
Penny Allsop previously worked in the Americas Research Department and as a conference organiser at Amnesty International for 18 years. She has also worked as a professional Personal Assistant in a number of different sectors. Penny has travelled extensively round the world and lived and worked in Australia, Egypt, Spain and the USA. She is married with three young boys.
Rita Glynn - Fundraising Executive
Rita Glynn has over 15 years experience working as a fundraiser in the charity sector. She was the Senior Trust & Statutory Fundraiser for Mind - the leading mental health charity in England and Wales - for over 13 years, and more recently worked for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers. Rita has also volunteered in South Africa teaching IT skills to children living in a rural township, and in the UK for a charity offering support to families living in London’s inner city housing estates. She is the mother of two daughters in their twenties.
