Home-Starts are always happy to hear from people who wish to share their skills and volunteer to help Home-Start.

In some places, Home-Start schemes and national offices work with volunteers to provide specialist services to families. Among other activities led by volunteers around the world, Home-Start has provided:
• Play therapy for children
• Narrative therapy for adults
• Mother and toddler groups
• Scrapbooking and other art activities for adults
• Classes on cooking on a budget
• Income generating handicrafts projects
• Toy libraries
• Clothing banks
