Home-Start is developing into an important provider of family support in Canada, particularly Quebec. We are also developing queries from individuals and organisations in the USA.

In Québec, Canada, we are currently organising our first big funding event to start the provincial office in 2007 - 2008. Goals of this new office will be to support our seven existing schemes, to develop more schemes and to financially support some of them who are in crises.
In Calgary, there are two Home-Start schemes. In 2007 we hope to have the second scheme running at capacity, with 25 trained volunteers.

Home-Start International and the Home-Start network are not associated with a similarly-named organisation in the USA.
