Focus 2008

Home-Start schemes and national associations work day by day to support families, and to create a world where children are happy, healthy and safe.

We also work on key projects, all aimed at expanding the service we offer so we can reach more families and children, or at getting better at what we do, so that the support we provide has an even greater impact.

Our projects in 2007 include:

growth and development
developing our standards, policies and practice around safeguarding children from abuse and neglect
providing new opportunities for training and skill-sharing for schemes and national associations
using photographs and film footage to promote our work to families, volunteers and professionals
